iPartner India’s Corporate Volunteering and Mentoring Programme is an innovative tool to encourage employee commitment, foster leadership skills and improve the company’s reputation by simultaneously benefiting communities and increasing the social impact of business activities.
Whether volunteers offer hands-on help, share their knowledge or experience as mentors, or advise nonprofit organizations on management issues, our goal is to achieve the highest possible social benefit with each initiative.
Corporate Volunteer Programme
Employees volunteer at a project(s) of their choice in India offering pro-bono support and skill sharing so that the project(s) can begin to address their needs and look at ways to expand their model in a sustainable and self-sufficient way. Steps to a successful programme:
1. Discuss and assess with you how volunteering fits with your overall business strategy.
2. Agree on your company’s community concerns and how much time you wish your employee(s) to volunteer and whether they wish to volunteer alone or in a group.
3. iPartner India will then present you with a range of project ideas that are both in line with your business’ brand and match the skills and interests of the employee wishing to volunteer.
4. Once the project(s) and time frame have been agreed, a meeting will be organized with the employee(s) to plan and develop the project, ensuring all along that the employee's interests, skills and talent are utilised effectively.
Mentor Programme
A programme designed especially for senior employees to mentor senior leaders within the NGO sector.
Time required:
An hour set aside per month for a conference call with their designated NGO partner.
