iPartner India has a strong network of social change organizations that run education projects and programs, many of which are a part of strategic interventions involving the rehabilitation and reintegration into society of survivors of neglect, abandonment, violence and abuse.

In India, many children, especially girls, are denied their right to education either because they are never enrolled in school, or forced to drop out at an early age. According to UNICEF estimates, there were 33 million children in 2016 that were out of primary and lower secondary school in South Asia.

While girls and boys attend primary school in roughly equal numbers, the gap widens as they get older and more girls are forced to drop out to help with work at home or get married. iPartner India strongly believes that educated girls are more likely to become financially independent, invest in their communities and empower other women.

We support and fund ‘innovative’ projects like the two highlighted below – which work towards developing girls into confident young women with critical thinking and analytical abilities, helping them take charge of their lives and become change makers.
