We ensure girls & boys know their rights.

Rakshan links girls and boys to existing government and private scholarships
to encourage continuity of education until higher education. In addition, the
program offers them opportunities to build their skills via children’s groups,
leadership workshops and exposure visits.

Rakshan empowers children to discuss issues concerning them and builds their capacities to raise those issues in front of the concerned stakeholders.   In partnership with children, teachers and young people, Rakshan aims to bring back play in the lives of children by making play accessible through interactive and sustainable playscapes. The play elements are made of used tires and other scrap materials.

Safety audits are held with children to identify the existing lacunae and address them through multi-layered interventions.   Rakshan links girls and boys to scholarships for continued education. This is supplemented with tuition classes for improved learning outcomes.
